Abstract: Aim:Low birth infant weight and prematuritg seem to be one of the biological factors that causes growth deficiency. Among the babies who have development retardation risk recovery chance is quite high if the earlier intervention occurs without delay. Accordingly, the earlier determination of possible retardation risk among infants and commencement of necessary earlier intervention studies are important forthe decrease of the problems that can be taken place during the later parts of their life. Earlier intervention refers to the schemes that are developed for the families of the babies and children who are under the risk group or have development retardation or deficiency (till 36 months old). In thıs study, the initial assesment of (9 month-1 day old) baby premature girl who is under the risk of developmental retardaiton, was born the 32nd week of pregnancy with 1700 gr and as parts of developments for the earlier intervention services which relocates the family to the center their observation and supporting have been dealt.Method: In the research single - participant research method, which is a quasi-experimental study,has been utilized. At the beginning of on aerlier internevtion programme, a scheme with identical developmental level has been applied and meanwhile we continued gather data about baby. Results:When the facts we analyzed, the affect of the scheme was found as cohen d= 0,59. Conclusion: According to results at the study it is found that the earlier interactive intervention programme which relocates the families to the center , improves the development of the premature baby under the risk and contributes to the attainning of developmental level which is equal with his/her pear group.
